Öhlins, R&T suspension fluid #5. 1 liter
- R&T (Road & Track) front fork oil - Viscosity 20 Centistokes at 40° (similar to SAE 7;5W) - 1 liter. Compatible with telescopic; upside down / inverted and all Öhlins suspension products. This oil is mineral based and designed to reduce friction for less wear and oil contamination to give a longer service life to both suspension components and fork oil. Especially designed to reduce cavitation (foaming). When suspension is worked hard foaming can become a thing. Foaming induces air/gasses in the fluid which is compressible. Since foaming reduces damping capacity; a cavitation resistant damping fluid is important to keep the damping system working correctly. Note: To place viscosity into perspective; the viscosity of water is approximately 1 centistoke at 20°C.
