Used to restore damaged internal and external threads. Special threaded restoring taps and dies ensure a good result and are safer in restoring threads than using regular thread cutting taps and dies. Regular cutters are sharper and can easily damage existing thread. USA made. Note: Not suitable for cutting new threads. 48-piece US sizes & Metric sizes restore kit.
