Feuling, External Breather Kit
External Breather kit for Feuling Backing Plate for M8; Twin Cam; Evo. This kit allows the Feuling BA Air Cleaner backing plate to be converted from standard intake breathing to external breathers. Kit includes breather bolt fittings; lines; breather filters; zip ties and 545 thread sealant. NOTE: Our in house testing shows venting the air cleaner to atmosphere may be problematic resulting in oil carry over/misting out of the breathers. When air filter venting is accompanied with the use of oil tank venting such as the Feuling vented dipstick and or a vented transmission top cover the oil carry over/misting can be increased.The overall health of the engine including the internal cylinder head breathers; oiling system and piston ring/cylinder seal play a major role with oil blow by; carry over and misting out of the breathers.Feuling’s testing shows the M8 engine has limited internal vacuum and the cylinder head breathers prefers the vacuum pull of the intake.
