Feuling, Reaper 630 Twin Cam conversion cam set
Used to convert 99-06 Twin Cams; with the stock mechanical spring adjusted chain tensioners; to 06-17 style hydraulic chain tensioners that work on engine oil pressure. This 06-17 hydraulic system is better and used in all late model Twin Cams. 630" intake & exhaust valve lift. Very High performance cam. Offers vicious performance gains for large engines (2.500 -6.900 RPM). Tuning required. High performance valve springs; pushrods; lifters; and clutch required. Fitment notes: - Additional parts are required. Conversion camshafts for ’99-’06 Twin Cam engines use 99-06 inner cam journals with the 07-17 outer cam journals allowing the use of the stock 07-17 cam plates; oil pump; hydraulic chain tensioners and chain drive sprockets.- This conversion camshaft will not fit a conversion cam plate. Stock style 07-16 style cam plate is required. - See 'Additional parts required for installation' below. These are not available through Motorcycle Storehouse; unless the MCS part number is mentioned. - Required components for 99-06 to 06-17 conversion camshaft kits: Feuling; OE+ hydraulic cam chain tensioner conversion kit 707402 99-00 Twin Cam; 2001 FLT or 707403 01-06 Twin Cam (excl. 2001 FLT; 2006 Dyna). Installing conversion camshafts in 99-06 style Twin Cam engines; require use a 07-17 style cam plate and oil pump. Therefore also requires following parts:707246 Outer chain. Repl. 25675-06. 707245 Inner chain. Repl. 25683-06. 921614 Outer crank sprocket 17 tooth. Repl.
