NC, 'Vintage' reproduction beaded windshield. Black lower
Way back; when the company was founded in 1937; National Cycle's original name was 'Nations Cycle'. This vintage windshield is a reproduction of the windshields that 'Nations Cycle' made during that time. The re-release of this windshield is authentic; complete with mounting hardware. The only difference is that the windshield is made from modern; virtually unbreakable; polycarbonate with the upper section treated with National Cycle's exclusive Lexan® hard coating for superior scratch resistance. This polycarbonate windshield material is much stronger than the original Pyralin plastic; but still the beaded edge and the steel reinforcement ring is used for a period correct appearance. An absolute great windshield for period-perfect restorations.
