This allows left or right side installation without optical issues. Galfer Disc Wave® discs are the most popular. Thanks to their larger brake track perimeter; they enhance cooling capacity and allow for even wear of the brake pads. They undergo a cathodic electrocoating treatment to prevent corrosion. In the case of floating discs; they offer an improvement in weight reduction; and there are two variants: those with a high-strength anodized aluminum center (7075 T6 - 6082 T6) and those with a steel core (AISI 420).
