Used to hold the hydraulic lifters (hydraulic tappets) in the tappet bores when removing the camshaft or to remove the lifters up & out of the engine. The tool is adjustable; allowing deeper penetration; no more pushing up the lifter to meet the magnet. The strong magnets allow you to pull tappet blocks and lifters out as a unit on Evolution engines. Helps prevents hydraulic lifters to be accidentally switched to another tappet bore position; this ensures best tappet performance. USA made.
