This oil filter replaces all the internal components of the filter fitted in the oil tank on KH's, early Sportster and Big Twin. So, instead of the washer (OEM 6817), the upper seal (OEM 63881-67), the lower seal (OEM 63846-67), the filter element (OEM 63840-53 or 63835-87T) and the spring (OEM 63831-67), you just have to fit one part. This premium quality oil filter is made from the finest materials available and is specially designed for use with multi-grade as well as single grade oils, even heavy weight SAE 70.
