An economical way to get more out of your 883 Sportster. Use these forged pistons to convert an 883cc engine to 1200cc. Bore the stock 883cc cylinders out to 3 1/2" bore or use 1200cc cylinders. Pistons feature coated skirts for reduced friction during break-in. Pistons also feature a dished domed, so no combustion chamber modifications are needed. It is also not necessary to re-balance your crankshaft. Sold in sets of 2 pistons complete with Moly faced piston rings, circlips, and piston pins. Fits XL 883 1986-2022 and give a 9.4:1 compression ratio. Note: The cylinders on models 2009 and later can not be bored to accept these 3 1/2" bore pistons. You will have to order a complete S&S cylinder and piston kit, or 2 new Stock XL 1200 2004-2008 cylinders or a pair of S&S 3 1/2" bore cylinders separately.
