Made from 17-4 series show polished stainless steel; which offers sheer and tensile strength better than chromoly with superior corrosion resistance. This pivot shaft will not bend or break. A fully corrosion resistant head means you can now run your pivot blocks open with no cap and your pivot shaft will never again freeze-up in the transmission case. Comes complete with a polished stainless steel 12-point ARP nut; shaft end cap and anti-seize paste. OEM replacement reference 47492-89A
