Feuling, Reaper 594 Twin Cam conversion cam set
Used to convert 99-06 Twin Cams; with the stock mechanical spring adjusted chain tensioners; to 06-17 style hydraulic chain tensioners that work on engine oil pressure. This 06-17 hydraulic system is better and used in all late model Twin Cams. 594" intake & 604" exhaust valve lift. Performance cam for 103; 110 and 124" engines in heavy bikes (2.200 -6.250 RPM). Higher compression ratios improve performance further. Smaller 95" engines require increased compression ratios and respond well to higher revving (2.500 - 6800 RPM). Requires high left springs; pushrods & lifters. Tuning required. 594 cams require high performance valve springs; pushrods; lifters; carburetor and or throttle body work; performance exhaust; intake and clutch. Fitment notes: - Additional parts are required. Conversion camshafts for ’99-’06 Twin Cam engines use 99-06 inner cam journals with the 07-17 outer cam journals allowing the use of the stock 07-17 cam plates; oil pump; hydraulic chain tensioners and chain drive sprockets.- This conversion camshaft will not fit a conversion cam plate. Stock style 07-16 style cam plate is required. - See 'Additional parts required for installation' below.
