Black with clear fins. This is a 12-Volt electronic voltage regulator that mounts directly to the OEM generator. Replaces the OEM; separately mounted; early mechanical and late electronic regulator. Installs on top of the stock generator end cover. With red and green charge indicator LEDs. Wiring: Red to armature; green to field; black to battery.
