Incl. 6 Carbonite friction plates & 5 'Performance Steel™' steels. Complete Carbonite® PowerPack® 'Maximum Effort' clutch kits with friction & steel plates. Developed to handle the power and torque of Big Inch / High-Performance engines on the streets today. This Carbonite clutch kit features an extra friction plate and steel drive plate; which increases the clutch area for greater holding. The friction plates are lined with 3M carbon based material; which is capable of withstanding higher temperatures; offers a higher coefficient of friction than anything else available today. The steel drive plates are 'Performance Steel™' which have a surface Ra value (Roughness average) of just 2-10 micro inches. Regular steels have an Ra value between 15 to 25 micro Inches. A microscope will show you less peaks and valleys on Alto's 'Performance Steel™'. This will improve performance; durability; engagement and offer a longer life and cooler running.
